Politcal Ramblings

I was getting a little nervous about Palin when I heard on MSNBC that she said what we were doing in Iraq is God's will. Then last night I saw the talk she gave in her Church. It pretty much sounded like something a lot of Christians believe and might say. Pray for our troops and pray that God's will be done. I just don't see the controversy in it. I hope she prays every morning that God's will be done. Don't believe evrything you hear is true - Investigate! Palin said she does not bring her personal religeous views with her to work and from everything I've read about her career in Alaska, I believe this is true.

I also don't see a flip-flop on the "bridge to nowhere" Yes, she was, and is, for finding a way to get the local people to this island where the airport is, but she did it to help the people she represents. When the price tag came in where it did she rejected it and had her staff study going with a ferry system instead.

Obviously, all this non-sense goes both ways. I also thought it was ridicoulous when the right wing went after Barack's Pastor. I know my Pastor's have said a few things over the years that I strongly disagree with. That doesn't mean that since I didn't leave the Church I must be 100% in agreement with every thing said.

I think we all need to relax, take a deep breath and try to watch the upcoming debates with an open mind.

Real Change

It's going to be an exciting race to the finish line. Who'd have thought it would be the Republican ticket that would put out a team that will REALLY shake up Washington. Now if both sides could just quit all the mud slinging and talk about the issues that would be awsome. You can't even learn about the issues watching the cable news shows. They are so fricken biased in their reporting it makes me sick. cvkdad
